Women’s Peer Support Groups
These support groups are open to women only and offers a safe space to share and support members in their journey to promote improved mental health and wellbeing. These groups help to reduce feelings of isolation whilst also empowering improved confidence, skills and resilience. Regular activities include wellbeing sessions, day trips, gardening, group lunches and guest speakers.
ROSHNI is a support group open to Asian women in the local community and is supported by a Punjabi speaking sessional worker. The group runs on Wednesdays, 10:30am-12pm.
WRISE (Women, Recovery, Inspiration, Support and Empowerment)
WRISE is open to all women and is supported by sessional workers and volunteers and runs every Thursday 11am – 2pm.
